This was our 2nd San Felipe 250 race. Last year we received an off-road racing education when the Bevly-Wilson team stayed next to us at Victor’s RV park. We came back and the team returned also.
Our spot was across the park this year so we didn’t get to experience The Bago rocking when they fired up the 800 horses.
The day before the race, all the vehicles go through the Malecon. It’s a big fiesta and a lot of fun.
Race day, our new friend Anne joined us to watch the start on the Malecon. It was a little too mellow as there’s a speed limit in town. We walked a little further out to get dusted by some of the trucks. Good, not so clean fun.
Looks like you had clear skies & lots of dust. Hope you had plenty of eye drops & cervas.
Ha. Si!
