Today I took the shuttle into Zion and hiked Angels Landing. Probably one of the best hikes I’ve done. Another great feature of the park built long before one could sue the government successfully.
The trail starts on the Virgin River and climbs up through a sieres of switchbacks to small canyon and a set of stone switchbacks called Walter’s Wiggles.
The final push to the top is up a rocky formation with awesome views of Zion Canyon. Chains allow you to pull yourself up and give you some safety margin from falling 1500 feet down.
Don’t look down.
At the top.
