I think I can count the number of warm sunny days I’ve spent on the Oregon Coast on one hand. We stayed five days at Pacific City Thousand Trails and managed to hit the beach weather loto with highs in the 80’s. The park has trails to the beach across the road and you can even drive on the beaches.
We hiked two days at nearby Cape Lookout State park. The cape trail was slightly foggy the first day. We took Crosby with us and he enjoyed the muddy parts.
Even with the fog, the views were still great.
We came back the next day and the fog had lifted.
We decided to walk down to the beach close to where I went to Boy Scout camp after Mt. Saint Helens blew up.
The beach was virtually deserted as most people opt to do the Cape Trail.
Gorgeous it makes you want to go “to the beach”. As you say not always good weather but looks like you did hit the jack pot. Keep on treking & sending pics & comments.
Thanks. Fall is usually nice.
