Moab Fall 2018

From Boise, Idaho we headed to Moab, Utah with a quick overnight in Ogden outside of Salt Lake City. We camped in the same area as last year but found a spot a little closer to the highway with great cell signal and views.

Klondike Bluffs is on state land and it’s free to camp with a 14 day limit. There’s a great mountain biking trail system close by.

Arches National Park is visible to East and you can hike or Jeep into the park.

More off-road fun and slick rock scrambling with Crosby.

I took the Jeep to Canyonlands National Park.

Corona Arch was a fun hike by the Colorado River.

The weather dropped down into the 20’s at night and our house batteries were just about dead, requiring us to start the engine just to get the generator to crank but we really enjoyed our two week stay here.

We moved into town at a full hookup spot at OK RV Park. Our water hose froze a couple of times before I wised up and unhooked it at night. We drove up to Porcupine Rim and looped back to the rv park on Sand Flats road.

Always more to see and do in Moab.
