From Winthrop, we climbed back up the steep North Cascades. The weather had changed from sunny to North West drizzle.
The scenery in the park is pretty spectacular and very different from most of the Cascade range.
We stayed two nights in the very nice Newhalem Creek Campground next to the visitor’s center. You can definitely tell the difference in humidity and flora when crossing over from East to West side.
